While Hyperseek will run in a virtual environment, for busy search engines (500,000+ searches monthly), we recommend a dedicated server rather than a virtual/shared web server. Regardless, the server must be equipped with the following:

• Linux/Unix/BSD Operating System
• MYSQL Version 4 or Greater
• PHP: Version 4.1 or higher -- with MYSQL support (XML/Expat, and CURL support is recommended, but not required)
• Disk Space: 1 MB for the software and core databases, up to 6 GB for long term storage needs
• Memory: As much as you can afford ... you can never have too much
• Your PHP needs a minimum memory limit of 32M (Your php.ini file's memory limit should be set to 32M)
• For Compiled versions (Demo, Lite and Full) you need the proper ionCube Loader
• Note -- Compiled versions of Hyperseek are --NOT-- compatible with servers running the "Ensim", or "Plesk" domain control panels -- unless you have root access and can install the "loaders" required into the root/core php "ext" directory, and can manipulate the system master php.ini file.
